Café Moreira is a charming and cozy place to be; i tis visited by many generations of clients. Here, you can taste the “queque”, a muffin made according to the original recipe, used since the café was established.

Shop History

Café Moreira was founded in 1964 and purchased in 1972 by the current owner. Frequented by the population of Foz do Douro, it is part of the memory of different generations, being referred to in numerous publications as a historic café of the city of Porto.
This café is known for its excellent products and for its familial atmosphere. It is still a meeting point for various well placed individuals from the City of Porto, like the singer Miguel Araújo and the architect Souto de Moura, amongst others.
