Shop History

José Rola Paulo Lda store opened on January 6, 1946, established after taking over the business from José Silvestre. On February 20, 1988, José Rola Paulo passed away, leaving his daughter Maria Lúcia Rola Paulo Rocha and granddaughter Ana Rita Paulo Leal as partners. The store continues in the same business, haberdashery, tailoring, and also sells some underwear. Being a store with history, it continues to sell fabric items such as traditional chintz, cotton, and fisherman’s check (castorinas).
