The Shop

Operating since 1958, Restaurante Tatu is located on the corner of Avenida da Igreja and Campo Grande, in the Alvalade neighbourhood. Originally owned by the firm Luiz Augusto Lopes, Lda., the establishment was transferred in 1986 to the company Nascimento & Lourenço – Atividades Hoteleiras, Lda.
It is currently managed by the Nascimento family, ensuring the continuity of a business with a strong connection to the neighbourhood and its community.

Shop History

Since the 1950s, Alvalade has established itself as a dynamic urban centre, where restaurants play a central role in local social life. Restaurante Tatu is part of this context, having contributed to the development of the area’s commercial fabric by offering restaurant services in a growing neighbourhood.
