With centuries-old existence and continued activity, it has in place a valuable historical archive, preserved testimonies of the action of the founder and the entity, collection and documentary collection, photographic records, furniture and artistic objects, which constitute a heritage of recognized historical relevance, safeguarded, integrated and alive in an office in full activity and highlighted in the main Law Firm Guides in the world.

Shop History

The founder of AZEREDO PERDIGÃO & ASSOCIADOS – SOCIEDADE DE ADVOGADOS was José Henrique de Azeredo Perdigão, personal lawyer and legal advisor to Calouste Sarkis Gulbenkian, who played a crucial and unique role in the structuring, legal embodiment and establishment of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon, with its first headquarters located in the same property.
In this office, Calouste Sarkis Gulbenkian’s will and the processes that validated it were drawn up and the work and legal documents that culminated in the constitution of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation were developed, and its statutes were also written.
