It is a reference in the city, functioning as a support to the specialised search for stylists and tailors, which allows it to be connected to the activity of production of clothing.

Shop History

Located right at the heart of the historic centre of Porto, Benedito Barros, founded in 1926, has a long history connected to the commercialisation of textiles and woollen fabrics, maintaining its genuine and traditional appearance. Benedito Barros & Companhia settled itself firstly in the Rua de Trás; then moved to Rua do Almada; and finally, in 1974, it settled in its current location. In the management of the current commercial company, there is still the son of the founder, José da Silva Martins and his family.
