The Shop

The Casa d’Armas restaurant, located in an old manor house, opened in 1987 and was acquired in 1992 by Fernando Julião and his wife.

Shop History

Since the beginning, it has occupied a historic property, built in 1702. The organization and decoration of the restaurant create a rustic and pleasant space, in which the dark, strong woods and stone are a sign of history and the furniture, “warmed” by a fantastic fireplace, is synonymous with cordiality and the desire to receive and serve, in a personalized way and with great privacy, all customers.
Over more than three decades, it has established itself as a reference in Vivian gastronomy, presenting a diverse menu of Mediterranean and Portuguese cuisine.

Products and Services

Açorda de Lavagante (in which the bread takes eight hours to make), Bacalhau à Casa D’Armas or Tornedó, served with cheese on top and flamed at the table. Unique selection of wines, in a wine cellar that delights critics and connoisseurs.
