The “Casa da Sorte” has always been the main mediator of social gambling in Coimbra with costumers of all ages, social groups and professions throughout generations in the past 70 years.
Over its existence, several politics and artists became regular clients of the shop, such as Miguel Torga, noble writer of the city. As well as the writer, several city mayors, successful entrepreneurs and other personalities of the city were regular costumers of the “Casa da Sorte” shop.

Products and Services

The “Casa da Sorte” maintains the same structure since the beginning of its activity, with the same rigorousness, tradition and knowledge standards throughout the years, focusing on the continuity of their employees, witnesses of several happiness and fortune stories over the years.
Combining the social gambling function with public service, part of its space is occupied by the postal services, very useful for the city downtown and uptown population.
