Shop History

Founded in 1922, Casa Ferreira da Cunha’s mission is the distribution of Iron Architectural element. For over a century they have combined decorative art, functional objects and Portuguese identity. They create and produce diverse handicraft hardware, in wrought iron or cast bronze, covering all the needs that a house, a manor house, or commercial buildings need with character and security in mind.Locks, latches, knockers, bolts, pebbles, handles, hinges, rudders, door knockers, bell and bell holders, forged nails, pots… are pieces that are part of our store’s identity. In addition to the dedication to artisan made hardware, Casa Ferreira da Cunha retails cutlery, keys, utilities and other household items, as well services for the public in the assembly and opening of locks and safes.
