The Shop

Built in 1957 and designed by António Pinheiro Braga, it was one of the
first establishments to open its doors in Rua Vasconcelos e Castro.

Shop History

A meeting and socialising place, it was at the time one of the favourite
places for the typical snacks of the ladies of high society.
With its main premises located in Rua Vasconcelos e Castro, this shop
gradually extended its business to other parts of the city, with an extension to Campo da Feira, a privileged location for the search of its
much appreciated and tasty products.
With its own confection, with an exquisite quality and a preparation that
obeys all hygiene standards, its products are a classic in famalicenses’
homes.
The origin of this establishment goes back many years and is the result of the work of Mr. Joaquim and Mr. Augusto who gave life and soul to Bom Gosto, which over the years has been maintaining and enhancing its products, so sought after and culminating with a specialised offer at
Easter, Christmas and City Festivals.
