Sale of traditional drugstore products and restricted marketing circuits, some popularized in the third quarter of the twentieth century and now, with regard to the territory municipal, only sold here.
Sale of chemical products, which in other times were sold to in bulk, now by legal obligation, packaged and can only be purchased here.
The restrictions legal regulations imposed on the sale of chemical products with the potential to produce Explosive devices restricted the sale of most of these products in the establishment.
Drogaria provided local photographers of chemical products for laboratories, having a table containing the requirements of each formula depending on the specificities required by each client, particularities that remained in the records of commercial relationships.

Shop History

Drogaria was founded by Mr. Galileu Bernardes in the 40s, who was an employee of Drogaria
Martins located on the same street and already closed. However, in 1969 he formed a company with the employee, Mr. Cândido Armindo José.
With the death of Mr. Galileu in 1988, a new partnership was formed between the other partner and his wife. With the death of Mr. Cândido in 1997, the company passed to the also employee and current manager, José António Jacinto, Wife and Son.
The establishment is a reference in the city for purchasing traditional drugstore products.
