Located at the beginning of the town of Darque, about 5km from Viana do Castelo, founded in 1972. It is integrated into Quinta de Santoinho, a permanent space for ethnographic dissemination. cultural and gastronomic concept conceived and implemented by António Cunha.
It is located next to the Museu do Traje e Costumes da Fundação Santoinho, with a large terrace surrounded by careful vegetation, private parking with free access, with a pleasant, welcoming atmosphere and the friendliness that has characterized this space for over 30 years.
Passing through different managements, but always with a family connection, Espigueiro has established itself as a reference space in Viana do Castelo and Alto Minho. It is a typical restaurant, with a traditional decor that has remained unchanged since its opening and that seeks to promote elements of Minho culture, ensuring its promotion and dissemination.
