Founded in 1928, Pedro A. Baptista Lda distinguishes itself by pieces of gold and silver, silver or gold jewelery, with its own design and execution by hand, guaranteeing the quality and prestige that, over the years, characterizes it.

Shop History

This establishment was founded by Antonio Dias Ribeiro Gasparinho Júnior, a merchant distinguished by his creativity, seriousness and kindness, making him one of the most renowned goldsmiths in the country. After his death in 1899 the society is inherited by his son with the same name and by his son-in-law, Francisco Bernardino Ribeiro. In 1928 the company is acquired by Pedro A. Batista that continues this prestigious goldsmithing. Entrepreneur, transformed that space into a luxurious space but not pretentious, giving extreme refinement and good taste to the pieces. To this fact, the creative capacity of the brother-in-law contributed greatly, Fernando Bastos Monteiro arqtº. Confidence in the brother-in-law was such that in 1970 he extended the company to his brother-in-law and his wife, the parents of the current owners. They are also holders of pieces of jewelery of heritage reference, making the transfer of them to various art exhibitions. They also participate in large national fairs, as is the case of FIL and in Braga.
