The Reclamo newspaper of August 1933 announces the opening of Papelaria Lusitana on August 17, 1933, having as its owner the Oliveira Cardoso family from Brenha and from 1983 until now remains in the company Eires Marques and Gonçalves, Lda.

Shop History

This shop has dedicated to the book selling among other school materials for almost 90 years now in Rua da República and is a reference shop in the area of commerce in the city of Figueira da Foz. This shop preserves its initial façade where the inscription Livraria Lusitana is located. Its interior has undergone some changes and refurbishments in order to allow for more space and customers can see all the products available when entering the shop.
