Opened in 1952, it still maintains its characteristic modern architectural
image. The building, which is located in the corner of Praça 9 de Abril and Rua Santo António, is a landmark of the city centre.

Shop History

A family company, it was founded as a result of the enterprising and
innovative spirit of Avelino da Costa Ferreira, followed by his descendants. Initially, it functioned as a residence and restaurant, having acquired a strong local and regional prestige. From the 1970’s onwards, it started to work only as a residential building.
Located in the heart of the city, it provides visitors to our municipality with the comfort of a privileged location. Promoting a personalized service to its customers, it combines the best accommodation, within its
qualification, to the traditional famalicense hospitality.
